Andrej Vrecer, ex LX Navigation chief designer brings a welcome pedigree to this new and expanding range of instruments.
Andrej looked at what the industry currently offers, many of which have had no serious hardware changes in a decade, and designed an instrument that is more intuitive to use, simpler to operate, and can interface to tablets running with XCSoar, Tophat, OpenVario etc via a simple bluetooth interface.
Andrej works for RC electronics, a company based in Slovenia. The company started with development of altimeters and variometers for remote controlled gliders 17 years ago, and has built a reputation of high quality and reliable products on the market.
In recent years the company started developing full size onboard gliding equipment. They now have a product line of different Fenix vario-navigation systems and Flarm Indicator displays.
